What you’ll learn
- Give an opinion on an abstract question with two reasons and a concrete example in under forty-five seconds
- Compare the past and the present and speculate about the future using the correct tenses and hedging language
- Weigh advantages against disadvantages with balanced structure and a clear conclusion
- Answer a question you have never considered by thinking aloud in English instead of going silent
- Use a range of linking devices, precise vocabulary and complex sentences consistently enough to meet the Band 7 descriptors
- Hold a full four-minute Part 3 while the examiner challenges every answer, without switching to Hindi
Skills you’ll practise
This course is for
IELTS candidates at Band 6 to 6.5 who need 7 or above. Part 3 is a four to five minute discussion of abstract questions linked to your cue card, where the examiner decides between Band 6 and Band 7. Candidates often collapse here into one-line opinions and the same three linking words. This course drills opinions with reasons, past versus present, speculating about the future, advantages and disadvantages, questions you have never thought about, and the Band 7 markers: linking, range, precision. Every lesson is a roleplay with an AI examiner who probes, disagrees and gives feedback only afterwards. It ends with a full Part 3 under pressure.
