Terms of use

• You sign in with a mobile number you control, verified by a one-time password. Keep access to that number secure; activity on your account is treated as yours.
• Give accurate information and keep it up to date. One account is for one person; do not share it or sell access to it.
• If you are under 18, you may use ExamPilot only with the consent and supervision of a parent or lawful guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
• You can stop using ExamPilot at any time and ask us to delete your account, as described in the privacy policy.

Use ExamPilot for your own preparation and learning. You must not:

• use it to cheat in a real examination, interview or assessment, or to impersonate another person;
• abuse, harass or threaten the AI interviewers, tutors or our staff, or use the service to produce unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit content;
• try to extract our question banks, prompts, rubrics or models by scraping, automated querying or reverse engineering;
• interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or get around usage limits, fair-use limits or payment; or
• resell or redistribute the service without a written agreement with us.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law or the safety of others prevents it.

Interviewers, panel members and tutors on ExamPilot are AI systems, not real officials, recruiters or examiners, and they are not affiliated with or endorsed by any examination body, recruitment board, employer or institution named on the site. Interview formats, panels and questions are modelled on publicly known patterns and can differ from any particular real interview.

Scores, reports and suggestions are practice guidance generated by AI. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they are not a prediction or guarantee of selection, marks, a job offer, admission or a visa. Use your own judgement and official sources for eligibility, dates, syllabus and procedures.

• The free Starter plan and the paid options — the Plus subscription, voice-minute top-up packs and the Panel Pass — are described on the pricing page. Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your order is confirmed once Razorpay confirms the payment.
• Subscriptions run for the period you buy. Before a period ends we create a renewal order for you to pay; we do not debit you automatically. If a renewal is not paid, your account moves back to the free plan after a short grace period.
• Voice minutes are used while a voice session is live. Each top-up pack is valid for the period shown when you buy it, and unused minutes expire at the end of that period. Fair-use limits on free chat and text practice are shown on the pricing page.
• We may change prices or plan features for future purchases. A change never affects a period or pack you have already paid for.

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of payment from the Billing page in your account or by writing to hello@exampilot.ai. What is refundable depends on what you bought:

Plus subscription

A full refund if you ask within 14 days and have used no more than 3 sessions since paying; after more use within that window, a refund in proportion to the unused days of the period.

Top-up packs

A full refund within 14 days if none of the pack’s minutes have been used.

Panel Pass

A refund for passes not yet used, within 14 days.

Institution plans

As set out in your institution’s agreement with us.

When a refund is approved, the unused minutes or passes from that purchase are removed and any subscription it paid for ends. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay; how long the money takes to reach you depends on your bank or payment provider. The refund terms shown at checkout for your purchase apply if they differ from this summary. Nothing here limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

ExamPilot, its software, question banks, interview formats, rubrics, courses, lessons, AI personas, design and brand belong to Illumin or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own preparation while you have an account. Names and logos of examination bodies, boards and employers belong to their owners and are used only to describe the interviews we help you practise for.

Your answers and transcripts remain yours. You allow us to store and process them to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy. Reports you choose to share through a share link can be viewed by anyone who has the link until you revoke it.

We work to keep ExamPilot available and accurate, but the service is provided as it is and as available. Voice sessions depend on your connection and on third-party providers, and features, tracks or languages may change. If a paid session fails because of a fault on our side, write to us with the session details and we will look into it.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including the outcome of any examination, interview, application or admission, or loss of opportunity. Our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to hello@exampilot.ai first so we can try to resolve any dispute quickly. If it is not resolved, the courts in India with jurisdiction over the matter will decide it.

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, tell you in the app before they apply. Continuing to use ExamPilot after that means you accept the updated terms.
