What you’ll learn
- Give a complete TOEFL independent answer with opinion, two reasons and one example inside forty-five seconds
- Summarise a campus announcement and a student's reaction in sixty seconds without reading back word for word
- Explain an academic concept and connect it to the lecture's example in a clear two-part structure
- Speak for a full ninety seconds on a Duolingo topic or photo without stopping or repeating yourself
- Recover from a blank in under three seconds using a holding phrase and keep the answer on structure
- Pace a mixed set of timed tasks and finish each one within two seconds of the beep
Skills you’ll practise
This course is for
Study-abroad applicants taking TOEFL iBT or the Duolingo English Test. Drill the four TOEFL iBT speaking tasks and the Duolingo English Test speaking items against the real timer: fifteen seconds of prep and forty-five seconds of answer for the independent task, the integrated campus and academic tasks, Duolingo's read-then-speak and speak-about-the-photo items. Each lesson teaches one answer skeleton, then an AI examiner runs timed rounds, counts you down and scores you on the real rubric lines. Ends with a timed capstone set of TOEFL and Duolingo tasks.
