Skills you’ll practise
This course is for
Hindi-first adults who understand English but rarely speak it. You understand English on TV and in messages, but when the receptionist, the shopkeeper or the new colleague speaks to you, the sentence does not come. This course gives you the daily sentences real life in an Indian city needs, in six settings: greetings and small talk, a shop or market, phone calls, directions and travel, the clinic or office counter, and chatting about weather, food and family. Every lesson teaches two to four frames and then puts you in a roleplay with a convincing shopkeeper, receptionist or neighbour. The capstone chains all six into one full day in English.
