What you’ll learn
- State the single message of any slide in one spoken sentence of under fifteen words before explaining it
- Open a presentation with the conclusion and the ask in the first thirty seconds
- Explain a chart aloud in thirty seconds using the what, so-what, now-what pattern
- Recover from 'can you skip to the point' with a one-line answer and a graceful jump
- Handle questions by answering directly, deferring with a reason, or admitting a gap with a follow-up date
- Adapt the same five-minute presentation for a senior leader and for a peer team
Skills you’ll practise
This course is for
Professionals who present updates, data and proposals to managers and teams. For analysts, engineers, team leads and managers who present weekly reviews, project updates and proposals and know the room drifts after the second slide. You learn to state one message per slide out loud, open with the conclusion, explain a chart in thirty seconds, recover when a senior says 'can you skip to the point', handle Q&A by answering, deferring or admitting a gap, and adjust the same content for a director versus your own team. The tutor plays real, impatient audiences and times you. The capstone is a five-minute presentation with live interruptions, scored against every outcome.
