What you’ll learn
- Describe your daily routine and your family's routines in the simple present without slipping into the continuous
- Say how long you have been doing something correctly (I have been working here since 2023, not I am working here since)
- Tell a short story about yesterday in the simple past, with the right irregular verbs and correct negatives
- Share experience and news with the present perfect, and switch to the simple past the moment a time is named
- Set a scene with the past continuous and talk about plans with will and going to
- Hold a two-minute conversation that moves between past, present and future without translating in your head
Skills you’ll practise
This course is for
Hindi-medium learners who freeze on tenses while talking. Spoken English needs only a handful of tenses, but Hindi speakers mix them up in predictable ways: I am working here since, I have gone to Goa last year, I did not went. This course takes each tense you actually use in daily talk, holds it next to the Hindi sentence you are thinking, gives you two or three frames, and then puts you in a real conversation with a neighbour, a cousin, a colleague or a co-passenger. It ends with a capstone where you tell a two-minute story about yesterday and your plans, scored on tense control.
level
No prior speaking practice needed. Short sentences, lots of repetition, Hindi support whenever you need it.
