What you’ll learn
- Read a one-page business or policy case in five minutes and state the decision point, the decision maker and the constraint in one sentence
- Deliver a spoken stakeholder analysis naming at least four parties and what each gains or loses
- Propose a solution with a reason, a cost and a risk, and defend it against two rounds of pushback without abandoning it
- Open an abstract GD topic with an interpretation, an angle and an example inside forty-five seconds
- Reason through an ethics dilemma using principles, consequences and stakeholders rather than slogans
- Summarise a group discussion in sixty seconds, giving both sides fair weight and naming the points of agreement
Skills you’ll practise
This course is for
MBA admission, bank PO and campus candidates facing case or abstract GDs. B-schools and recruiters now prefer case studies and abstract one-liners over topic GDs because they expose thinking, not vocabulary. Learn to read a one-page case in five minutes and name the decision point, speak a stakeholder analysis aloud, propose and defend a solution under pushback, open abstract topics like 'Black is beautiful' or 'Zero' with a structure, reason through ethics dilemmas without preaching, and summarise a fifteen-minute discussion in sixty seconds. The tutor plays moderator and participants; the capstone is one case GD and one abstract GD, scored.
