What this interview looks like

Creative, media and marketing hiring in India usually runs a recruiter or HR screen, a hiring-manager round on your portfolio, clips or campaigns, a role round where a lead critiques your work or gives you a short live brief or assignment review, and a culture or behavioural conversation, spread over one to three weeks. Agencies and brands often add a take-home test or writing sample before the final round; newsrooms add a copy test or on-camera screen test; design teams add a portfolio presentation. ExamPilot compresses this into one 17-minute panel: an HR screen, a hiring-manager round on the one piece of work you are proudest of and what it moved, a role round led by a creative director, editor or senior lead who critiques your work and gives you a brief to think through aloud, a STAR behavioural round and a closing on expectations. Every round is scored on role knowledge, problem solving, communication and attitude, with specific feedback on how well you defended your choices and whether you tied craft to an outcome.

What to expect

5 rounds, one after another

Works for software, product, sales, finance, HR, support and campus hiring by swapping the role bank.

How scoring works

A report you can act on

  1. Every round is scored on the rubric

Each interviewer scores only the criteria their round covers. Weights add up to your overall score out of 100.

  2. Only what you actually said counts

Feedback quotes your own answers. Rounds you skip show as “Not assessed” rather than a zero.

  3. Communication is always measured

Fluency, clarity, confidence and structure are tracked across the whole interview, in any language.

  4. Pass mark, then a plan

You see the pass mark for this interview, your gaps, and the courses that close them fastest.
