What you’ll learn
- Do one round of the 4-4-4 breath while walking to the front and start speaking on a slow exhale, not a gasp
- Deliver a rehearsed first ten seconds, greeting, name, one-line promise, without rushing or looking down
- Hold eye contact with one listener per sentence and move to the next face at the full stop
- Speak from three-word note cues without reading a sentence aloud
- Recover from a blank or a mistake with a spoken reset line and continue without apologising twice
- Handle laughter, background noise and a hostile question without losing the thread of a two-minute talk
Skills you’ll practise
This course is for
Students, teachers and professionals whose voice shakes in front of a room. Stage fear is a body reaction you can train around, not a personality flaw. This course works on the physical side first: what fear does to breath and voice, the 4-4-4 breath you can do while walking to the front, and a rehearsed first ten seconds so you never start cold. Then the parts nobody practises: one face at a time, notes without reading, resetting out loud after a blank, and handling laughter, noise and hostile questions. Lesson 7 mixes every skill at random; the capstone is a two-minute talk to a simulated audience that interrupts you.
