What this interview looks like
All four companies filter with an online test first and then interview the shortlist in one sitting, usually on video. TCS runs a single panel of three, a technical interviewer, a manager and an HR person, for twenty to forty minutes, with Digital and Prime candidates getting a noticeably harder technical section on data structures, object-oriented design and a project deep dive. Infosys usually fields one interviewer for twenty to thirty minutes who covers technical fundamentals, a coding or pseudocode question, puzzles and HR together; Specialist Programmer candidates face a second, harder coding discussion. Wipro's interview is a combined technical plus HR round of fifteen to thirty minutes after the NTH or Turbo test, with projects, programming basics and a written-communication check. Accenture's interview is light on algorithms and heavy on communication, pseudo-code reasoning, project understanding and fitment, with the Cognitive and Technical Assessment and the communication test already done. Patterns are as of recent drives and shift from year to year; package figures and service agreements in particular change, so verify them against the current offer letter. ExamPilot compresses the loop into a 17-minute panel: HR screen, a hiring-manager round with company-specific questions, a role or technical round in your chosen profile, a short STAR behavioural round and a closing on expectations, scored on role knowledge, problem solving, communication and attitude.
How it is weighted
The assessments shortlist and the interview decides; it is rarely algorithm-heavy. Interviewers check that you can explain your project, read and reason about pseudo-code, speak clearly in English and show interest in Accenture's work. Here each round is scored against the corporate rubric (role knowledge 30, problem solving 25, communication 25, attitude 20).
Who this is for
Candidates who have cleared Accenture's Cognitive and Technical Assessment (English, critical reasoning, abstract reasoning, pseudo-code, common applications, networking and security basics, cloud fundamentals), the coding assessment of two problems, and the communication assessment. The interview is a single round combining technical and HR questions, with a heavy weight on communication, project understanding and fitment. Advanced Associate roles come from a stronger assessment score. Process pattern as of recent drives.

What to expect
5 rounds · 17 minutes
A private-sector hiring loop compressed into one sitting, the way most Indian companies run it: HR screen → hiring-manager round on your actual work → role/technical round led by a lead → communication & behavioural (STAR) round → closing on expectations and your questions. Works for software, product, sales, finance, HR, support and campus hiring by swapping the role bank.

TCS / Infosys / Wipro / Accenture Accenture campus interview questions
Questions panels commonly ask in the TCS / Infosys / Wipro / Accenture Accenture campus interview, with what a strong answer covers. Practise them aloud with the AI panel.
- Project for clients
Imagine I am a store-chain operations head with no coding background. Pitch your final-year project to me in plain business language.
What a strong answer covers
Start with the business problem, explain what the solution does in plain words, how it helps users, and one measurable outcome. Keep jargon to a minimum and check understanding. Avoid technical terms like REST APIs and microservices without explanation.
- Pseudocode
Look at this pseudocode: for i from 1 to 4, for j from 1 to i, print a star. What does it print, and how many stars in total?
What a strong answer covers
Explain that it prints a triangle with one, two, three and four stars on successive lines, totalling ten stars. Dry-run aloud showing how j depends on i. Avoid guessing the total without tracing.
- Cloud basics
What is cloud computing, and why would a company move its applications from its own servers to a cloud provider?
What a strong answer covers
Define on-demand computing resources over the internet, explain IaaS, PaaS and SaaS briefly, and benefits such as scalability, pay-as-you-go cost and faster delivery, plus considerations like security and cost control. Avoid buzzwords without explanation.
- Networking
Trace what takes place between pressing enter on www.irctc.co.in in your browser and the booking page appearing on screen.
What a strong answer covers
Cover DNS resolution to an IP address, the TCP connection and TLS handshake for HTTPS, the HTTP request, the server and database work behind it, the response and the browser parsing and rendering the page. Keep it in order and plain. Avoid skipping DNS or HTTPS, or drowning in packet-level detail.
- Company understanding
Accenture is a consulting and technology services company. What do you understand about how it is different from a pure IT services firm?
What a strong answer covers
Mention its consulting, strategy and technology offerings, client-facing work and broad industry focus, and show realistic understanding of where a fresher fits. Avoid exaggerating or assuming freshers will do strategy consulting immediately.
- Client readiness
A client asks you a question in a meeting and you do not know the answer. What do you say?
What a strong answer covers
Be honest that you do not know yet, repeat the question to confirm you understood it, commit to a specific time for the answer, then check with your lead and follow up in writing. Show that credibility matters more than looking clever. Avoid guessing confidently or promising something your team has not agreed.
- Database basics
Explain the difference between a database and a spreadsheet, and when a company should move from one to the other.
What a strong answer covers
Databases handle large data, multiple users, relationships and integrity rules; spreadsheets suit small, simple analysis. Move when data volume, concurrent access or reliability needs grow. Avoid saying spreadsheets are always bad.
- Flexibility
You may be assigned to a technology you have not studied, such as SAP or Salesforce. How would you approach that?
What a strong answer covers
Show genuine willingness, explain how you would learn through the company's training, official documentation, a sandbox and a mentor, and give a real example of picking up a new tool quickly in college. Avoid reluctance, insisting on one stack, or claiming you already know SAP or Salesforce from a short video course.
- Motivation
Why Accenture, and what would you like to achieve in your first two years?
What a strong answer covers
Give a specific reason such as its mix of consulting and technology, exposure to many industries or its learning platforms, and set realistic two-year goals like depth in one technology, client communication and a certification. Avoid generic brand praise or saying you plan to leave for an MBA in a year.

How scoring works
A report you can act on
Every round is scored on the rubric
Each interviewer scores only the criteria their round covers. Weights add up to your overall score out of 100.
Only what you actually said counts
Feedback quotes your own answers. Rounds you skip show as “Not assessed” rather than a zero.
Communication is always measured
Fluency, clarity, confidence and structure are tracked across the whole interview, in any language.
