What this interview looks like
The SSB runs five days. Day one is Stage I screening: the Officer Intelligence Rating test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test, after which most candidates are sent home. Days two to four are Stage II: the psychological tests (TAT, WAT, SRT and Self Description) on day two, Group Testing Officer tasks across two days, and a personal interview of roughly thirty to sixty minutes with the Interviewing Officer, scheduled on any of days two to four. Day five is the conference where the psychologist, the GTO and the IO compare their independent ratings on the fifteen Officer Like Qualities and recommend or do not recommend. There are no marks for the interview itself; the IO's assessment carries one third of the weight in that decision. The interview opens with a minute of rapport, then the IO asks two or three very long multi-part questions covering family, schooling, college or job, marks, friends, hobbies, sports and responsibilities, noting which parts you drop and cross-checking against your Personal Information Questionnaire. Then come practical situations, current affairs and service awareness, and finally motivation, strengths and weaknesses. The IO never gives feedback. The ExamPilot mock compresses this into twenty minutes with a single AI Interviewing Officer who follows the same sequence, uses the same multi-part style and the same consistency checks, and rates you on the OLQ rubric afterwards.

What to expect
5 rounds, one after another
One-on-one with the Interviewing Officer, as on days two to four of the five-day Services Selection Board. Rapport, then the rapid-fire personal-information-questionnaire block in long multi-part questions (family, schooling, college, friends, hobbies, sports, responsibilities, achievements), then practical situations and awareness, then motivation for the forces and honest self-assessment. A single officer runs every stage, cross-checks every answer against the PIQ and earlier answers, and gives no feedback. The score is a rating on the Officer Like Qualities, not marks.

How scoring works
A report you can act on
Every round is scored on the rubric
Each interviewer scores only the criteria their round covers. Weights add up to your overall score out of 100.
Only what you actually said counts
Feedback quotes your own answers. Rounds you skip show as “Not assessed” rather than a zero.
Communication is always measured
Fluency, clarity, confidence and structure are tracked across the whole interview, in any language.
