Mock interviews for the conversations that decide where you study or travel next.
How it works in India
Some of the shortest interviews carry the highest stakes. A US student visa (F1) interview at a consulate in India often lasts only a few minutes. The consular officer wants to know why you chose this course and university, how you will pay for it, and what ties bring you back — and decides at the window. Visitor (B1/B2) and H1B stamping interviews follow the same pattern with different questions. UK universities and sponsors may hold credibility interviews to check that you are a genuine student, and Australia assesses a Genuine Student requirement. Germany, Schengen and dependent visa interviews check purpose, finances and documents.
Admission interviews at Indian institutions look for fit and motivation. NIFT and NID shortlists face a studio or situation test and an interview about their portfolio and design thinking. TISS and other social-science programmes ask about your understanding of social issues and field experience. Liberal arts colleges, hotel management institutes and research master’s programmes have their own panels. Fellowships such as Teach For India, the Gandhi Fellowship and state chief minister’s fellowships interview for commitment, resilience and clarity about why you want to serve.
Prepare by knowing your own story precisely: course, university, funding, plans after study, and why. Answers should be short, direct and consistent with your documents. Never memorise a script — officers and panels can tell. For admissions, bring specific examples from your work, portfolio or field experience.
ExamPilot’s AI officers and panels run US F1, B1/B2 and H1B interviews, UK student, Australia, Canada, Germany, Schengen and dependent visa interviews, NIFT, NID, TISS, liberal arts, IPM, BBA, NCHM and research admissions, and education, policy, rural and NGO fellowship interviews.

Admissions & Visa Interviews
The interview or personal-interaction round that follows an entrance test or shortlist in Indian college admissions: design-school portfolio and situation-test rounds at NIFT and NID, TISS programme interviews, Christ University and liberal-arts interviews at St Stephen's and Ashoka, the IIM IPM personal interview for Class 12 students, NCHM and IHM counselling interviews, and department interviews for IISc and IIT MS, research and central-university PG seats. Practise with a four-member panel that opens from your application, probes your motivation, your portfolio or academic depth, and your values.
Admissions & Visa Interviews
Realistic selection interviews for India's best-known graduate fellowships and for the first jobs in the social sector. Fellowship panels test motivation, honesty about failure, community exposure and whether you will last two years on a stipend; NGO and CSR panels test whether you can run a budget, a logframe, a donor report and the compliance that keeps an organisation alive.
Admissions & Visa Interviews
Practise the two to four minutes at the window that decide a visa. A brisk consular officer takes your passport, asks your purpose in one line, then fires short questions on funding, ties and intent, challenges your documents and inconsistencies, and closes without a decision. Tracks for US F1, B1/B2 and H1B stamping, UK student credibility, Australia and Canada study, and Germany, Schengen and dependent visas.

FAQ
Why this university and course, how you chose it, who is funding your studies and how, your academic background and test scores, your plans after graduation, and your ties to India. Answers should be short, honest and consistent with your documents.
Often only a few minutes. The officer asks a handful of questions and usually decides at the end of the interview, which is why clear, direct answers matter so much.
It helps you get used to the pace and pressure and to answer clearly and consistently. ExamPilot cannot influence any visa decision, and you should rely on official sources for document and eligibility requirements.
