For KPSC, Karnataka police and teacher boards, bank panels in the state and employers who interview in Kannada.
Interviews in Kannada
Karnataka's boards interview in Kannada. The KPSC KAS personality test lets candidates answer in Kannada or English, and the panel asks about the state, your district, irrigation and water sharing, Bengaluru's growth and current affairs. Karnataka police PSI boards, teacher recruitment, government hospital boards, KPTCL and cooperative panels sit in Kannada. Bank interviews in the state allow Kannada for RRB and clerical posts and many PO panels accept it where the board allows; UPSC permits Kannada as the interview medium on request. In Bengaluru's private sector, the technical round is in English but many HR and customer-facing rounds accept Kannada.
In an ExamPilot mock in Kannada, the panel asks in Kannada with subject terms kept in English where that is how they are taught, follows up, and accepts Kannada or English. The report is in English and scores content, structure and communication separately.
Rehearse in Kannada what the boards ask in Kannada: your district and its issues, a scheme you would improve, a current controversy in the state, why this service, your subject. Saying it aloud shows where the Kannada answer needs the same structure as the English one.

Most Indian candidates do not speak one language at a time. You can answer in Kannada, in English, or mix the two the way you would across the table — technical terms in English, the rest in Kannada — and the interviewer keeps up. Where a round assesses communication, the report notes it; otherwise nobody marks you down for switching.
If Hindi is the mix you actually speak, there is a dedicated Hinglish mode where the panel itself asks in Hindi-English.
